Russian language programme for complete beginners and students of elementary level

This programme is specially designed for students who would like to study Russian language for a short period and be able to speak Russian fluently. During this programme you will get the appropriate knowledge of Russian language necessary for everyday communication as well as for studying at Russian university. After successful completion of this programme you will pass the First Certificate Exam on Russian Language easily.

programme content:

1. The course of social adoption. This course is given within the first two weeks of their studies at the University. The goal of the course is to give basic knowledge of Russian necessary for everyday communication and to overcome the language barrier for students of elementary level. The main topics are related to the residing and studying, shopping, public transportation. The special attention is paid to the typical situations in casual language.
2. Russian language intensive course. Emphasis is laid on pronunciation, grammar, understanding of texts (oral and written), understanding of radio and TV programs, films, conversation on everyday themes and on different social and cultural themes.
3. The course on Russian literature, history, culture and folklore. It is kind of language-literary-cultural course which includes studying Russian literature, history, culture and folk traditions in connection with mentality (for example, superstitions), reading stories, novels, poems, folk tales and legends, visiting museums.

Admission requirements:
To be registered at the programme you have to:

• fill in the application form taken from "Apply Now" section of the site;
• send the scanned copy of your passport by E-mail to the contact person.

Tuition fee:

The cost of the programme is 75000 RUB. The cost of dormitory is not included. Basically the price for the room depends on its capacity. A room for three people costs 600 RUB and a room for two people costs 1200 RUB. The number of rooms is limited.
