Petrozavodsk State University (PetrSU)
PetrSU is the largest educational institution and the leading university of system of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation in the European North of Russia. The university comprises 13 faculties:

Northern European Open University-PetrSU
Northern European Open University (the NEOU) was created on the basis of Petrozavodsk State University as a consortium of scientific, educational, innovation, voluntary and other types of organizations in the European North. The aim of the NEOU is to provide personnel with scientific support for the social and economic development of the European North of Russia, as well as to create uniform educational, scientific and informational space in the region. NEOU participates in the foundation and work of foreign citizen enrollment boards for studying in Russia, promotes students mobility and international exchange programmes for all groups of public.
