For the third consecutive time the group of students from the University of Birmingham spends their summer vacation in Petrozavodsk (in the frame of the Summer Russian Language Program). In the true spirit of English diligence and intellectual curiosity, for one month students have shown great results.
The first step in any investigation is working and learning. Lessons in EVERY FORMAT (perfectly conducted) haven’t left anybody disappointed. And vice versa our teachers did acknowledge the effort of the young linguists. More over our new friends took active part in the diverse cultural program.
The first-hand experience: Master-class, making traditional stoneware.
The first theatrical experience: the hugely successful Tchekhov’s
play adaptation made by Sebastian, Anabelle.
Students didn’t prefer to stay in one location. They “migrated” to hundreds of places: starting with the tour around Petrozavodsk (plus all excursions possible) ending with the three-day trip around St.Petersburg.
