Time to Play!

All the students study hard during the working days and even on Saturdays, but still there is some time to have fun and to communicate with their friends, groupmates and the other dormitory neighbours. And there are lots of traditional Russian games to spend great time together!
A good way to spend an evening is playing the game “Krokodil” (“Crocodile”). This game is based on words connections and dumb show, and besides pleasant emotions and lots of laughter, it brings practice in the Russian language that is quite important and useful for our international students. The game requires good creative thinking and the skill to express one’s emotions through facial expressions. “Krokodil” in the dormitory No.2 was terrific. The foreign students were not afraid of explaining the Russian words to their teams and guessed the words themselves easily. Though, of course, some words couldn’t be done without online translator. After a long battle the team "DOTA" became the winner! All the participants got the diplomas but the main award was cheerful time spent together.
This October, another party game that is popular among the players of all generations was “Mafia”. The game was first created by one of Moscow students and then spread all over the world. To win in the game the students turned to be a good psychologists and had to use their eloquence and persuasion skills. The guys got a lot of positive emotions and make friends with each other.
Spend your free time in a good company and playing useful games!
