In April, our Italian student Ennio Bolzonello, who is learning the Russian language at the Institute of International Program of PetrSU, gave an Italian language lesson to the students of Petrozavodsk Musical College named after K.E. Rautio.
The lesson started with a surprise. The students of the College sang Toto Cutugno’s song «L’Italiano» in the Italian language. Then the students told about themselves while the guest answered the questions about Italy, its culture and traditions and, of course, Venice as he lives in its vicinity.
The students listened to Dante’s sonnets in Italian recited by their guest. Ennio was happy to meet Russian students. At the end of the lesson they performed “Barcarola” by Tchaikovsky as a symbol of friendship between Italy and Russia.
