Summer classes for international students run their course at PetrSU. But our students don’t forget about their spare time, too, and do their best to spend it trying something new for them. As for the university, it tries to involve students in every single activity which would help them to improve their Russian even in a fun way.
This Wednesday our student Joan Coromina Puig from Spain played his DJ set at one of the local cafés after some practice. He was able to do it with his new Russian friend Artem Haka who taught him how to work on a DJ stage. Together they created a wonderful DJ set. The guests were impressed by the perfect music and some of them break into the dance.
It was a great opportunity for Joan to practice his Russian, too, because the set was accompanied with his interview. We are happy that our students are enjoying their time in Petrozavodsk and even take a leading role in some town events.
