Each term educational excursions in various museums of Petrozavodsk are organized for PetrSU international students basically in the frames of lessons on Study of Culture&Region and in addition to lessons on Grammar, Phonetics and Colloquial Practice. This term the THEATRE became the general topic for students from Finland, Sweden, Norway, the USA, the Great Britain, Australia and Vietnam.
On March, 5th international students visited an opening night. The performance «Koza Zlata» chosen for them at Petrozavodsk State Puppet Theater turned to be really delightful. In the play created by the motives of a fantastic parable (I.Zinger) the audience sees people of five nationalities on the stage, and they do not understand languages of each other … during the performance Yiddish, Polish, French, Spanish, German and Russian languages sound. In spite of this fact and with the help of the special theatre language, the sense of play was understood by everyone without an exception. After the performance students had a fascinating excursion behind the scenes of Petrozavodsk State Puppet Theater.
