A group of foreign students has made a training tour to the Archaeological Museum of the Karelian Research Centre of RAS. Along with the museum's director, Doctor of Sciences S.I. Kochkurkina and teacher of NEOU PetrSU M.V. Khazova guys from Norway, Finland, Latvia and Lithuania made a trip by means of interactive map of Karelia, noting the places of the first camps and settlements of people. Studying the exposition, they traced the evolution of the first tools and household items found at the excavations in our area.
Particular admiration of students aroused the beautiful ancient decorations and full of mystery petroglyphs and labyrinths. It should be noted that before the tour at the lesson on Regional Studies students read and discussed the article on "Sami Babylons”, so they were not just concerned, but also well-trained visitors.
In memory of meeting foreign students were presented with colorful brochures about the museum and its exhibits.
