A group of students from Birmingham (England) was involved in several master-classes on traditional Northern Russian handicrafts. Not only girls took part; all the students enjoyed the new experience of making souvenirs by hand. At the first master-class students were taught how to make a traditional
Karelian cloth doll, at the second one they were taught how to make necklaces out of a piece of thick felt. Our English students are going to take those souvenirs back home to Britain.
