At Petrozavodsk State University there is a preparation for the Winter School on “Information Technologies” within the framework of the Finnish-Russian Cross-Border University (CBU).
30 students among which there are CBU Master Programme students, representatives of China, Poland, Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Azerbaijan, and also students of St.-Petersburg State University and St. Petersburg State Polytechnical University will become guests of the Faculty of Mathematics (PetrSU) from the7th till the 12th of February, 2010.
The programme includes lectures and practical training at courses: Data Security - cryptographic basis, Performance Modelling for Wireless Data Communication. The courses are given by the teacher of PetrSU, O.Bogoiavlenskaya and the teacher from the University of Eastern Finland, Martti Penttonen.
