The waterfall Kivach
Kivach is probably the most famous waterfall in Russia. It is situated on the Suna River in the Kondopoga District and gives its name to the Kivach Natural Reserve, founded in 1931.

Interesting publication in the newspaper
"Petrozavodsky Universitet" ("PU") newspaper has published (in Russian) an interesting collection of essays covering the Karelian-Finnish epic poem “Kalevala” and its interpretations in music and theater. The essays were written in Russian. The authors are students from the UK, Finland and their teacher.
